I was telling Vinay at dinner tonight that I had nothing exciting to blog about today. We tried to go swimming, but the pool was closed for maintenance. All attempts for riotous giggles were thwarted by others.
And then dinner came and went, still boring. Nothing to tug at the heartstrings, to make Mommy run for the keyboard. Vinay helped clean up the kitchen while Amiya began to nosh on her dessert du jour - an ice cream cone. Amiya offered Daddy a bite and he couldn't pass up such sharing. Daddy quickly realized that this was particularly good ice cream and he had to have his own cone.
Soon thereafter he was found seated at the table, adjacent to his daughter, giving her lessons on the proper eating of an ice cream cone. "Turn it this way." That sort of banter.
It's really not a big deal, there are no cards for this occasion, but it was sweet and simple and just right for the blog.

I bite my tongue, except to say bananas and heath? What is that?!?! Yuck-o! Far better is the Pecan Cluster Blizzard. :-)
