It is entirely the fault of Genevieve, Amiya's French grand-mère, that this child likes chocolate. Prior to our trip in February, Amiya had had a sip or two of Mommy's hot cocoa and that was it. In France she had chocolate all around and she now adores it. (More proof that she really is my child, in case you're keeping count.)
Here Amiya is devouring her ice cream come after dinner last night. In order to get to her cone, she had to eat a fair amount of raw cucumber, which being a vezhable, was truly tortorous for her. But she did it and she got her cone. As you can see, Daddy has to get back to those lessons on proper eating of an ice crean come as she ate the cone down to the end on one side before rotating it at all.
Want to know the best part of the whole experience? Mommy had to run next door for a Pampered Chef party before she finished, so Daddy had to clean her up!
