Mama Mia!

Nothing really exciting here - except that Amiya is really getting into cooking. (Maybe she is my child, after all!) Tonight we made a pizza - from scratch. Whole wheat crust, pancetta, potato sausage, tomatoes, sauce, green peppers and, Amiya's favorite, cheese. Not the best mix of toppings (Mommy's fault), but she had a good time.

If you look closely at the picture, you can see that there is a little hill of toppings just a bit further towards the back of the oven than her hands. Her strategy: lean as far as you can without touching the pizza and deposit all toppings there. Luckily, Mommy was rotating the pan and redistributing toppings as we went.

The good news? Amiya ate all of her pizza, including those nastiest of vezhables: green peppers and matoes.
