Bad Mommy

I was very unsafe on Saturday; trying to pry apart two frozen burgers with a kitchen implement that was not meant to pry apart objects. The result: a gash in the palm of my left hand that resulted in a trip to urgent care. And now? I look like I tried to slash my wrist.

Amiya got to play with the neighbors kids while Vinay took me, so she thought the whole thing was a hoot. When we came home she was suitably awed by the wrapping. Since then she gives my hand kisses, says "You're fine, Mommy." and admonishes me to "Nest time be cawful, Mommy." Mommy has promised both Amiya and Daddy to not be so stupid ever, ever again.
