The bravado at swimming lessons has disappeared. I had to "release" her in the pool today and let her sink or swim to the wall. She did really well, but she doesn't think so. Lots of tears today, lots and lots of tears.
The other thing is just to share a stark and staggering mothering statistic with you: I have been peed on twice and have had to deal with excrement in a not so pleasant location (meaning not in the diaper) in the last 24 hours. She may not be able to tell me she's less than excited about sleeping in her crib or me "releasing" her to the wall, but believe me, her bowels are making it very, very clear.
